I am excited to be serving the parishes of Holy Trinity and St. Mary the Immaculate Conception. Over the past few weeks, I have enjoyed being so warmly welcomed by all of the parishioners, and I'm excited to journey with you all this year.
I grew up in Olmsted Falls as a middle child between my older brother and younger sister. My home parish is St. Mary of the Falls where I went for grade school. Upon graduating from St. Ignatius High School in 2016, I entered Borromeo Seminary. After two years at Borromeo, I went to The Catholic University of America for the Basselin Scholars program through Theological College. After three years in DC, I returned to Cleveland at St. Mary Seminary where I am in my third year.
My favorite book of the Bible is Mark because it's the shortest Gospel which helps my short attention span. It also has my favorite verse, "And a voice came from the heavens, 'You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.'" (Mark 1:11). I feel called to the priesthood because in prayer I sense Jesus inviting me into that life of love and self-gift. My favorite class that I've taken at the seminary was probably Christology. It was all about my best friend, Jesus.
In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching sports, and eating. The coolest place I visited this past year was Rome, as I had the wonderful experience of meeting Pope Francis.
